Quickstart
Use this guide to set up Oxara CMS and launch your first community. Oxara walks you through setup with a guided onboarding flow. You only need to configure the essentials first. Everything else can be adjusted later from the dashboard.The goal is to get your workspace created, your community configured, and your dashboard ready to use as quickly as possible.
Before you start
Before opening Oxara, it helps to have:Discord is recommended if your community uses it, but it is not required. You can complete onboarding without Discord and connect it later.

During onboarding, Oxara helps you:- Create or join a workspace

Step 1: Create your workspace
Your workspace is where your communities, staff, integrations, and billing are managed. You may be asked for:- Workspace name
- Workspace slug
- Your role
- Workspace logo

Step 2: Create your community
Next, create the first community you want to manage in Oxara. You may be asked for:- Community name
- Community type
- Timezone
- Region

Step 3: Connect Discord
If your community uses Discord, you can connect your server during onboarding. Connecting Discord allows Oxara to sync useful data such as members, roles, channels, tickets, and moderation actions. If Discord permissions are missing, Oxara will show what needs to be fixed.You can continue without Discord and connect it later from the integrations page.

Step 4: Import your data
If Discord is connected, Oxara can import selected server data. You may be able to import:- Members
- Roles
- Channels
- Staff roles
- Existing moderation history, where available
Step 5: Configure staff access
Staff access controls who can use Oxara and what they can manage. During setup, you can assign access levels such as owner, administrator, moderator, support, or viewer.Roles and permissions

Step 6: Choose modules
Modules are the tools your community uses inside Oxara. Common modules include:- Members

Step 7: Review and launch
Before finishing onboarding, Oxara shows a setup review. Use this to check:- Workspace details

Can I skip steps?
Yes. Non-critical steps can be skipped. For example, you can skip Discord during onboarding and connect it later. If an important step is incomplete, Oxara may remind you after setup.When is onboarding complete?
Onboarding is complete when:- A workspace exists
- At least one community exists
- An owner or administrator exists
- Staff access has been configured
- At least one core module is enabled
- You reach the dashboard
